Clouse, John C. Jack"  (31 OCT. 1941-09 SEPT 2009)

John C. Clouse "Jack" Clouse, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2009, at Luther Hospital, Eau Claire, following a sudden illness. Funeral services were held on Saturday, Aug. 29, at 11 a.m., at Osseo Evangelical Lutheran Church, Osseo. The Intern Pastor Amanda Kossow officiated. Burial will be at a later date in Taylor Lutheran Church Cemetery, rural Taylor.

John C. Clouse was born on Oct. 31, 1931, in Auburndale, to Louis and Estella (nee Lindel) Clouse. He attended school in Auburndale, until his freshman year when his family moved to Taylor, where he graduated from high school. While in school he was very active with the area 4-H club, showing registered Holstein cattle. He married Darlene Olson on Sept. 25, 1953, at North Beaver Creek Lutheran Church, Ettrick. The couple farmed in Taylor, moving to Augusta in 1973, to Greenwood in 1975, and eventually to rural Osseo in the late 90s. In addition to farming most of his life, he hauled bulk milk for Stewart Redville Dairy, out of Greenwood. He had been a member of the Greenwood Lions Club, Registered Holstein Association, and instrumental with the Taylor Old-Fashioned Days Tractor Pull. Through the years, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and rebuilding tractors.

Survivors include his wife, Darlene, rural Osseo; three sons, John Clouse, Mondovi, Robert (special friend Julie) Clouse, rural Osseo, and Tom Clouse, Black River Falls; two daughters, Julie (Mark) Djubenski, Abbotsford, and Linda (Rocky) Susa, Greenwood; a son-in law, Mickey Klatt, Augusta, four sisters, La Verne Vollert, Vesper, Geraldine Sabo, Wisconsin Rapids, Marlene (Val) Zimmerman, Rockford, Minn., and Audrey (George) Skibbie, Rib Lake; 11 grandchildren, Brad (Yaim) Klatt, Randy Klatt, Jessica (Joe) Fabberi, Kristie Klatt and fiancé Jason Gaier, Dakota, LeAnn and Abigail Susa, and Angi Djubenski; and two great-grandsons, Gabriel and Kadien Klatt.

Preceding him in death were his daughters, Deborah Clouse, in 1968, and Barbara Klatt, in 2003.

Anderson Funeral Home, Augusta, is assisting the family with arrangements.
