Waldhauser, Patricia (27 JUNE 1947 - 19 SEPT 2009)
Patricia M. Waldhauser, 62, Loyal, died on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009, at Saint Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, Sept. 23, at St Anthony’s Catholic Church, Loyal. The Rev. Jerome Naduvathaniyil officiated. Burial followed in St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery.
Patricia Marie Smith was born on June 27, 1947, in Momence, Ill., to Walter Sr. and Jacqueline (nee Nantz) Smith. She was raised and received her education in Momence, where she attended St. Patrick’s Academy. She lived and raised her children in Illinois until moving to Houston, Texas, in 1983. It was there that she met and married Michael Waldhauser, on Feb. 14, 1985. They lived in Texas until moving to North Dakota in 1991. They resided in North Dakota until 2000, at which time they moved to Loyal. She was a homemaker and housewife who loved her animals, collecting porcelain dolls and knickknacks, and loved spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren.
She will be dearly missed by her husband, Mike, Loyal; five children, Kathryn Craig, Bloomington, Ill., Christine (Jason) Ley, Dodgeville, Michael Craig, Park Forest, Ill., Steven Craig, Oskloosa, Iowa, and Timothy Craig, Chicago, Ill., 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Edna (John) Begesha, South Chicago Heights, Ill.; one brother, Donald Smith, South Chicago Heights, Ill.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents; four brothers, Walter Smith, Jr., Duke Smith, Tinnie Smith and Jack Smith; and one sister, Anbella.
