Holtzhausen, Augusta (4 July 1880 - 10 Apr. 1955)  
 

Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Methodist church at Colby for Mrs. Carl Holtzhausen, 74, who died at 10:45 p.m. Sunday at a Madison hospital. Death was due to a lingering illness.  
 

The Rev. Harvey Schall officiated and burial was made in the Colby cemetery.  
 

Mrs. Holtzhausen, formerly Augusta Krepsky, was born July 4, 1880, in the town of Mosel, Sheboygan county. She came to this area in 1892 and was married to Carl Holtzhausen.  
 

She is survived by her husband, a son, Alvin Holtzhausen, Abbotsford; two daughters, Miss Erma Holtzhausen, Nashville, Tenn.; and Mrs. Spencer (Ethel) Wallace, Madison; a sister, Miss Hattie Krepsky, Abbotsford; and two grand children.
