Jensen, Arleen Doris (Marriage - 18 June 1955)

Following a honeymoon to Canada, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Barts are now at home to friends on his farm northeast of Abbotsford.

The new Mrs. Barts, formerly Arleen Doris Jensen, chose a white, strapless, waltz-length dress of two tiers of net trimmed with lace, over satin for her marriage Saturday afternoon, June 18. The long sleeves came to points at the wrists. Her fingertip veil was secured to a crown of seed pearls, and she carried a cascade bouquet of gardenias and pink carnations.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Jensen, Colby, was given in marriage by her father to the son of Mr. and Mrs. Armin Barts, Abbotsford, at a 1:30 o’clock ceremony in the Christ Lutheran Church, Abbotsford. The Rev. F. H. Sprengler was the officiating clergyman.

Miss Shirley Sprengler was the organist and Miss Janis Zier was soloist. She sang "O Perfect Love," and "Beautiful Savior."

Mrs. Everett Denzin, Laramie, Wyo., a sister of the groom, was the matron of honor. She wore a yellow lace ballerina-length gown with two tiers of net over satin underskirt. A matching lace bolero was worn over a strapless bodice. A tiny nose-length veil was held in place by a floral headpiece. She carried a bouquet of blue and white carnations.
