Nevins
Mr. James says that bird hunting is all right around his farm and it is evidently true, as hunters come long distances to see him.
We expect to see Clark Calkin's house finished soon, as he has a carpenter working on it.
Messrs. Simloske and Freschette has each had a well drilled, the work being done by the Davis boys of Granton.
Wolves are becoming a great sheep pest in this section, taking sheep out of barn yards in the daytime. They are also reported to have chased people.
School commenced in districts No. 1 and 3 last Monday.
The Nevins bridge is now finished, the fillings having been put in.
Arthur Sparks followed his runaway home from the postoffice Tuesday evening on a bike. Art is partial toward a bike anyway.
