Schilling Station

S. R. Kelley is still hauling rock for the Popple river bridge.

Nina Baird and Ella Larson of Greenwood, were visitors to Mrs. Ed. Vine last Tuesday.

Ernest Vine has gone to Ashland for a while.

Alice Vine went to Rice Lake last Monday for a visit with her uncle. Her cousin, Mary Vine, accompanied her on her return.

Albert Stabnaw is building a new frame building, 14 x 20, which is going to be occupied by Mr. Grass, who has rented the farm for two years.

August and Albert Stabnaw and G. Phillips went black berrying across the Eau Claire river last Saturday. The results were a few berries and a good genuine soaking. Such is life in the far west.

Mrs. Herman Stabnaw and children have gone to Heckla, S.D., to join her husband, who went there some time ago.

Ed Vine has a job of station work on the Foster road, and has been working at it the past week.

The LaTart and the Larson Sunday schools are planning to have a union picnic in the near future, a good time is to be expected.

C. Richeleu has finished the work of putting in a new walk from the road to the schol house and the repairing of the wood shed, which is a little improvement in the looks as well as being more convenient.

Last Sunday's rain made rather muddy roads.

School commenced last Monday, with Viola Dutcher of Greenwood, as teacher.
