Twenty-Six Road

 

Guy Boyce has a new wheel.

 

Fred Fahey has gone down south of Neillsville with a camping party to be gone a couple of weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Myrick are staying at his place during his absence.

 

Mr. Rogers has moved into his new house. The young people had a dance in the old one Friday night.

 

Willie Fabey had a runaway at the creamery Thursday morning.

 

Mrs. Hoffman has gone to Eau Claire on a visit to her daughter.

 

Mr. White's people are having a serious time. About two weeks ago one of their boys had typhoid fever, and now four other members of the family, including Mrs. White, are sick with the same disease.

 

Dan Fahey started Monday morning for Centralia, Wash. He was accompanied by Newt. Allen of Loyal.

 

Guy Boyce is attending school in Greenwood.

 

Robbie Huntzicker and Jason Mack have gone to La Crosse to attend the business college.

 

Sammy Howden is working for Mrs. Fahey.

 

Mr. Nichol and Joe Lehnard have threshers this week.

 

A man from near Hartford passed through here last week. He wished to buy a farm.

 

Guy Allen is seen on the twenty-six road quite frequently these days.

 

Cis Cassidy is staying at Mr. Rogers for a short time.

 

Rev. W. T. Hendren and wife were calling on friends here last Monday.

 

A cattle buyer from Racine is here this week.
