Funeral services for Mrs. Gust J. Hintz, 85 years old, who died Jan. 26, were held Saturday afternoon at 1:00 o’clock at the Zink Funeral Home. The Rev. F. H. Sprengler, of Christ Lutheran church, conducted the services.  
 

Burial was made in the family lot at St. John’s cemetery, Hika, Monday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock with the Stoltenberg Funeral Home of Cleveland in charge.  
 

Mrs. Hintz, the former Lena Grundmier, was born Feb. 14, 1870. Mr. and Mrs. Gust J. Hintz were married in December, 1926, and the following February, came to Abbotsford and made their home here since then. Mrs. Hintz was a member of Christ Lutheran church. 
 

She is survived by her husband, Abbotsford; three stepchildren, Herbert Hintz, Sheboygan; Mrs. Oscar Nelson and Mrs. William Neal, both of Los Angeles, Cal.; a brother, William Grundmier, Sycamore, Ohio; one grand son, Eugene Dassler and two great grand children, of Hika.  
 

She was preceded in death by her first husband in 1925. Two sons by that marriage, Alfred and Roland Dassler, and four sisters are also deceased.
