Trester, Emil (May 1888 - 12 July 1956)
The Rev. V. O. Grosshuesch officiated at
the funeral rites held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock for
Emil Trester, 68, who died in Milwaukee last Thursday.
Services were held at the First
Evangelical and Reformed church, Colby, and burial was made in Pine
Hill cemetery, Curtiss.
Nephews who served as pallbearers were
Harold Miller, Norbert Uhlig, Donald Koerner and Charles, Robert
and Leslie Trowbridge.
Mr. Trester is survived by his wife, the
former Marie Koerner, whom he married at Curtiss June 10, 1913; two
sons, Clifford and Delbert; and three grand children, all of
Milwaukee. One brother and four sisters also survive.
Other out-of-town relatives who attended
the funeral were Mrs. Anna Lipprandt, Owen; Mr. and Mrs. Ernest
Miller, Colby; Mrs. H. Neuhaus, Genoa City, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs.
Eldon Pollnaw, Hartford; Mr. and Mrs. John Trester, Mr. and Mrs.
Walter Hollman and Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Hollman, Milwaukee; Leslie
Trowbridge and son, Ann Arbor, Mich.
Mrs. Leslie Waling, Harvard, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. George Uhlig and family, Pittsville; Mr. and Mrs. George Koerner, Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Koerner, Curtiss; Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Koerner, Abbotsford; Mr. and Mrs. Donald Koerner, Dorchester; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Trowbridge, Auburndale; Mr. and Mrs. Donald Trowbridge, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Trowbridge, Milladore; and many friends from the Curtiss area.
