Laabs, Albert K. (1872? - 5 Aug. 1956)
Burial rites were conducted in the
Pinehill cemetery at Curtiss, Wednesday afternoon for Albert K.
Laabs, 84, who died at Owen Sunday, Aug 5. He died of a heart
attack at the Clark County Hospital, where he had been living the
past 13 years. Mr. Laabs formerly resided in Curtiss as he had been
engaged as a barber.
Mr. Laabs is survived by three children,
Mrs. Henry Krueger, Abbotsford; Albert Laabs Jr., Owen; Ernest, of
Fertile, Minn.; three brothers, Emil and Arthur, Colby; and
Ferdinand, of Pocatello, Idaho; 12 grand children and six great
grand children. One child preceded him in death.
