Morgan, Betty Sue (Marriage - 21 Nov.
1956)
Miss Betty Sue Morgan, of Colby, and
Hilarion J. Michlig were united in marriage, Wednesday morning at
9:00 o’clock in a double ring ceremony performed by the Rev.
Raymond Schulz, before a nuptial High Mass at St. Bernard’s
Catholic church.
The bride is a daughter of M. C. Morgan,
of Chattanooga, Tenn., and the groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. John
Michlig, Route 1, Curtiss.
Attending the couple were Mrs. Myron
Ewert and David Michlig, sister and brother of the groom.
The bride chose light blue accessories to
wear with her navy suit, accented by a corsage consisted of dark
red roses, and white, feathered carnations.
Mrs. Ewert wore a light gray suit with
pink accessories. Pink roses and white carnations made up her
corsage.
The mother of the groom wore a dress of
Copenhagen blue and black accessories. She pinned a corsage of pink
and white carnations to the shoulder line.
Dinner for the bridal party and immediate
family was served at the Michlig home where a reception at 5:30 was
held for friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Michlig will make their home at a cottage on Fox Hill. Mr. Michlig is employed at the Gateway Lumber Company in Spencer, and Mrs. Michlig is employed at the Cozy Café at Colby.
