COLBY -- Grant A. Haas, 19, of Colby, died Thursday, Sept. 3, 2009, at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. 
 

His funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009, at Zion Lutheran Church in Colby. Burial will follow in Colby Memorial Cemetery in the town of Colby. 
 

Visitation will be Sunday at the church in Colby from 1 p.m. until time of service. 
 

Grant was born Aug. 14, 1990, in Marshfield, the son of Dean and Leah (Strack) Haas. He graduated from Colby High School in May. 
 

Grant is survived by his parents, Dean and Leah of Colby; one sister, Micaela of Colby; his maternal grandparents, Wil and Darlene Strack of Athens; his paternal grandmother, Evelyn Haas of Colby; and a maternal great-grandmother, Elva Strack of Random Lake. 
 

The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home of Abbotsford is assisting Grant's family with arrangements.
