Kenneth R. Hoehn, 77, of Owen, died
Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009, at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield
surrounded by his family.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept.
15, 2009, at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Withee.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
at the church Tuesday.
The Maurina Schilling Funeral Home in
Owen is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.

OWEN -- Kenneth R. Hoehn, 77, died
Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009, surrounded by family.
His funeral service will be at 3 p.m.
today at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Withee. Visitation will be at
the church today from 1 p.m. until time of service.
The Maurina Schilling Funeral Home in
Owen is assisting the family with arrangements.
Ken was born Jan. 13, 1932, to William
and Ethel (Hockin) Hoehn in Nyack, N.Y. Immediately after high
school, he began his baseball career with the Detroit Tigers minor
league in Richmond, Va., as a "southpaw" pitcher and first baseman.
He also played baseball with numerous other leagues in the central
Wisconsin area. Ken retired from Northern Welding & Supply
after 30 years.
He married Geraldine Doede on Feb. 2,
1952. Together they had five children who survive, Karen (John)
Pelot, Mosinee, Kenneth (Jeri) Hoehn, Plymouth, Kregg (Cindy)
Hoehn, Schofield, Kathy (Dan) Buss, Menomonie and Keith (Sandra)
Hoehn, Wausau. Ken was preceded in death by Geraldine on Feb. 2,
1952 (As corrected by Juanita Goin, the death date should be Nov.
27, 2008) .
Ken married Olga Woik on Oct. 14, 1995, in Owen, where they lived. Ken is also survived by his wife, Olga; his brother, Richard Hoehn, Schofield; two stepsons, Doug Liepke and Dennis (Donna) Liepke; 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, seven stepgrandchildren and one stepgreat-grandchild.
