Remus, Doris (Marriage - 9 Apr.
1954)
Mr. and Mrs. Loren Venzke are now at home
on a farm near Milan. Their marriage took place in the Assembly of
God church, at Milan, April 9.
The bride is the former Doris Remus,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Remus, Route 2, Athens, and the groom
is the son of Mrs. Johnna Venzke, Milan.
The couple were attended by Mr. and Mrs.
Walter Heldt, of Athens, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Venzke, Minneapolis;
Jerry Mantik, Milan; and Miss Marlene Diedrich, Athens.
Elroy Heldt, nephew of the bride, served
as ring bearer, and flower girls were Ruth Ann Venzke, Milan, and
Joyce Ann Lundbead, St. Paul, nieces of the bride.
The bride is a graduate of the Abbotsford high school, class of 1953.
