Peter, Ida (19 Feb. 1869 - 13 June 1954) 
 

Funeral services for Mrs. William Peter, 85, who died Sunday evening at Wausau Hospital, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday in the Christ Lutheran church. The Rev. F. H. Sprengler will officiate. 
 

Mrs. Peter, formerly Ida Krueger, was born Feb. 19, 1869, in Germany, and when she was 16 years old came to America. On April 25, 1937, she was married to William Peter in the town of Frankfort. After their marriage, the couple moved to Abbotsford. Mrs. Peter was married previous to her marriage to Mr. Peter. 
 

She is survived by her husband, seven children, Mrs. Walter (Alma) Kohl, Mrs. Clara Fluegge, Mrs. Ida Flasch, Mrs. Frank (Hilda) Weber, and Lawrence and Edward Schopoline, all of Milwaukee; and Mrs. Robert (Helen) Brown, Stockton, Cal.; 18 grand children, and 38 great grand children. A daughter preceded her in death. 
 

Friends called at the Zink Funeral Home until Thursday afternoon at 1:00 o’clock when the body was taken to the church.

Funeral services for Mrs. William Peter, 85, who died Sunday were held Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at Christ Lutheran church with the Rev. F. H. Sprengler officiating. During the services, the Misses Dorothy and Marilyn Kieser sang "Heaven Is My Home," and "Jesus Is Tenderly Calling Me Home." Internment was made in the Abbotsford cemetery. 
 

Pallbearers were H. J. Amacher and Henry Weideman, Abbotsford; Henry Poatz, Marshfield; Leopold Mielke, of Colby; and August Konkel and Ed Wetzky, town of Frankfort. 
 

The flowers were carried by Mmes. Clayton Afkend, H. J. Amacher, William Grottke, Walter Kuenzi, and Henry Weideman. 
 

After the services, the ladies of the church served supper in the church dining rooms to relatives and friends.
