Miller, Alvina Mrs. (Marriage - 10 July
1954)
Mrs. Alvina Miller, of Abbotsford, and Fred J. Miller, town of
Green Grove, were united in marriage Saturday, July 10, at the
parsonage of the Evangelical and Reformed church, at Colby. The
Rev. V. Grosshuesch read the double ring ceremony in the presence
of the two daughters of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Becherer
and family of Colby; and Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Schuette and family,
of Loyal, and the two sisters of the groom, Mrs. Bertha Jens, of
Owen, and Mrs. Ida Lulloff, of Colby.
Attending the couple were Mrs. Martha
Hamel, Abbotsford, and Adolph Molle, Green Grove, friends of the
couple.
For the wedding the bride wore a pastel
blue suit with white accessories. Pink roses were used in her
corsage. Mrs. Harmel wore a blue suit with yellow accessories, and
a corsage of yellow and white carnations.
A 5:00 o’clock supper was served at
the Casa Grande to relatives, a few friends and the Rev. and Mrs.
Grosshuesch. A beautifully decorated cake centered the
table.
In the evening, a wedding dance was held
at the Curtiss hall and a midnight lunch was served at the Miller
home, at Green Grove.
When Mr. and Mrs. Miller return from a wedding trip, they will reside in Green Grove.
