Lueth, Lorraine (Marriage - 24 July
1954)
Announcement is made of the marriage of
Miss Lorraine Lueth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Lueth, to M. M.
3rd Class Clayton Banks, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. T.
Banks, of Mobile, Ala. The ceremony was performed on July 24 at
4:00 o’clock in the Peace Evangelical Lutheran church,
Norfolk, Va., with the Rev. Phillip Nash officiating.
For the wedding, the bride wore a
two-piece white street dress with white accessories. Her corsage
was made of two orchids with white trim.
Attending the couple were Charles and
Miss Marge Fiss. The maid of honor wore a two-piece street dress of
ice blue with black accessories. American beauty rosebuds were used
in her corsage.
After a wedding supper, served at the Mangan’s Chateau, the young couple left on a wedding trip to Mobile, Florida, and Atlanta. They will make their home in Norfolk, Va.
