Whittlinger, Harvey (1899? - 9 Oct.
1954)
Funeral services for Harvey Whittlinger,
55, who ended his life Saturday morning were held at the Lulloff
Funeral Home in Colby at 2:00 o’clock Tuesday afternoon. The
Rev. William Grafe, pastor of St. Paul’s Lutheran church, at
Curtiss, officiated. Burial was made in Green Grove
cemetery.
Members of the family told Clark county
authorities that Whittlinger had been despondent since he sold his

sheriff Frank Dobes and Coroner John Bergemann, both of
Neillsville, investigated the death. The coroner said there would
be no inquest.

Beaver, Clark county and farmed all of his life in the Curtiss
area. He was married Oct. 20, 1922, to Hilda Scheer at Green Grove
Lutheran church.
