Blake, Lorn Clara (1885? - 4 Dec.
1954)
Mrs. Charles E. Blake, 69, a former
resident of Abbotsford, died Saturday morning at the home of her
daughter in Barton, Wis. Funeral services were held Tuesday
afternoon at Oshkosh.
Mrs. Blake was born Clara Baker, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Baker, in Abbotsford. She married Charles E.
Blake, a Soo Line engineer, in 1905. They lived in Abbotsford,
Marshfield, and Stevens Point, and in 1947 moved to Oshkosh and
later to Barton.
Surviving are her husband, two sons, Robert, of Barton; and Melvin, of Stevens Point; four daughters, Mrs. Henry Meyer, Milwaukee; Mrs. Fred Lord, Tarzana, Calif.; Mrs. Mildred Valier, Barton; and Mrs. Ted Dlugolenski, Oshkosh, and eight grand children. She also leaves one sister, Mrs. Oscar (Celia) Mellin, of Fond du Lac.
