Quinn, Evelyn (6 JUN 1910 - 16 AUG 1954)
Mrs. Roy J. Quinn (nee Evelyn Earl), 44, passed away at the Stamford Hospital, Stamford, Conn., Monday, Aug. 16, 1954. She was taken suddenly ill at her home in Darien, Conn., on Friday, Aug. 13. Death came as the result of a cerebral hemorrhage.
She was born in Owen (Clark Co.), Wis., June 6, 1910, and graduated from the Owen High School and Eau Claire State Teachers College. She taught in public school at Rice Lake, Wis., from 1932 until 1936.
July 26, 1936, she was married to Mr. Quinn in Chicago and subsequently the family lived in Bedford and Vincennes, Ind., Chicago, Ill., and Darien, Conn.
Besides her husband, she is survived by three children: Sandra, Robert and Sharon, by her father, Fred Earl of Abbotsford, Wis., a brother, Charles Earl of Cedar Rapids, Ia., and a sister, Mrs. Louis Cattanaugh, Kimberly, Wis.
Services were held from St. John’s Roman Catholic Church in Darien, Thursday, Aug. 18, with interment in St. John’s Cemetery, Norwalk, Conn.
