Moore, Mernajean (Marriage - 22 Jan.
1955)
In a double ring ceremony performed by
Judge Emil Lindvahl, Waukegan, Ill.., at 5:00 o’clock
Saturday afternoon, Jan. 22, Miss Mernajean Moore and Eugene
Strathman were united in marriage.
The bride is the grand daughter of Mrs.
George Barker, Abbotsford, and the groom is the son of Mrs. Hildur
Strathman, Colby.
Attendants at the wedding were Mr. and
Mrs. Chris Larsen, friends of the bridal couple, of
Racine.
For the occasion, the bride wore a wine
colored gabardine suit while her matron of honor had a gray suit.
Both of them chose black accessories.
Following the ceremony, the bridal party
had a wedding dinner at Racine.
Mr. and Mrs. Strathman left on Sunday for
East St. Louis, Ill., and returned here Tuesday. They will make
their home in Abbotsford.
The bride, a graduate of the Abbotsford high school, is employed by the General Telephone Company and the groom, a graduate of the Colby high school, and a Marine veteran of World War II, is employed at Lamont’s Service at Colby.
