Voigtlander, Paul E. (13 Nov. 1867 - 29
May 1955)
Paul E. Voigtlander, 87, died Sunday
afternoon at Medford, where he had made his home the past two years
with two daughters, Alma and Lillian Voigtlander.
He was born in Germany, Nov. 13, 1867,
and came to this country when he was 17 years old. He spent two
years at Milwaukee in the tailor business and then moved to a farm
in the town of Hoard, where he continued to live until
1953.
His marriage to Laura Erler took place at
Curtiss in March, 1891. She preceded him in death.
Surviving him are five children: Alma,
Lillian, and Elmer, of Medford; Henry, Curtiss; and Mrs. William
(Louise) Awe, Owen; four grand children and five great grand
children.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Peace Evangelical and Reformed church at Dorchester, with the Rev. Fred Kollath officiating. Burial was made in the Dorchester cemetery.
