Treankler, Darlyne June (Marriage - 1955) 
 

Miss Darlyne June Treankler chose for her wedding day, June 27, the anniversary of her parents’ wedding day. At 1:00 o’clock, Monday, marriage vows between Miss Darlyne Treankler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Treankler and Pvt. Donald Haralson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Haralson, of Owen, were exchanged in a double ring ceremony, with the Rev. Raymond Schulz, of St. Bernard’s Catholic church officiating. 
 

The bride’s gown was designed with a fluted bodice of Chantilly type lace over satin net yoke topped with a mandarin collar, long lace sleeves coming to points over the hand. Tiny lace covered buttons closed the bodice down the back. The floor length skirt, of fully gathered nylon net over traditional bridal satin was detailed with lace panels running throughout the skirt. Her finger tip of nylon tulle was attached to an open crown with seed pearl and sequin trim. A white orchid centered her cascade bouquet of pink garnet rose and white carnations. 
 

Mrs. Allen Stange, of Loyal, served her sister as matron of honor. Cousins of the bride, Miss Vergene Treankler, Stratford, and Miss Joyce Schraufnagel, Abbotsford, were bridesmaids. They were all dressed alike in frocks of summer blue. The strapless, fitted lace bodices over taffeta were topped with a matching lace cape. Nylon net over taffeta formed tiers down the entire floor length skirt. White and blue feathered carnations were used in their head pieces. The matron of honor carried a cascade bouquet of white carnations tied with pink satin ribbon and the bridesmaids carried pink carnations tied with white ribbon. 
 

Miss Gloria Schraufnagel, of Neillsville, another cousin, was flower girl and was dressed like the bride. She carried a nosegay of white carnations and pink garnet roses. 
 

Dwight Treankler, brother of the bride, was best man. Allen Stange, of Loyal, and Phillip Lukowicz, of Oewen, friends of the groom, were ushers, while Pat Schraufnagel, Colby, cousin of the bride, carried the rings on a satin pillow. White dinner jackets and black trousers were worn by the men. Their boutonnieres were pink carnations.
