Wilger, Anna (5 February 1877 - 26 July 1952)

Mrs. Anna (Nick) Wilger, 75, died at home in Milwaukee on Saturday, July 26, following an illness of eight years.

Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday from the Georgas Funeral Home and from St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with the Rev. Father M. J. Kelnhofer officiating.

Mrs. Wilger, nee Anna Ziglinski, was born on February 5, 1877, to Mr. and Mrs. John Ziglinski in the Town of Grant, Clark County.  She was employed in St. Paul, Minn. until her marriage to Nick Wilger in Neillsville on July 5, 1904.  They farmed in the Town of Pine Valley for several years, then moving to the city, where they resided for some time when Mr. Wilger carried on his trade as stone mason. Their last place of residence here was on what is known as the John Counsell farm east of the city.

She is survived by three children: Leo Wilger of Milwaukee; Clarence Wilger of Green Bay; and Mrs. William (Frances) Gitchel of Rockford, Ill.; ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one sister, Mrs. Mary Hubing of Loyal.

Mr. Wilger preceded his wife in death in 1926.
