Douglas Buddinger, 84, of Neillsville died Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2009, at the Memorial Health and Rehabilitation Center in Neillsville. 
 

Doulas G. Buddinger was born April 29, 1925, in Neillsville, the son of George and Estella (Selves) Buddinger.  He attended Forman Grade School and graduated from Neillsville High School in 1943.   He worked at North Star Dairy as a milk hauler for eight years and was drafted into the United States Army Oct. 25, 1950.  He served in the Korean War as a sergeant 1st class and was honorably discharged in January of 1953.  Upon returning home, Doug farmed his whole life in York Township.  
 

He is survived by several cousins.  He was preceded in death by his parents. 
 

Funeral services for Douglas were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 5, 2009, at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville with visitation one hour preceding the service.  Pastor Douglas Bjerke officiated.  Interment was in the Neillsville City Cemetery with military honors accorded by the Neillsville Veterans Council. 
 

Casketbearers were Mark Brubaker, Dan Herbrand, Ron Motion and Arnold Wirtz.
