Mr. and Mrs.
Roy Buss and two children, Andover, South Dakota, visited at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Evan Mierkey, Sunday, Dec. 26.
The
Ladies’ Home Mission met at the Presbyterian church,
Wednesday afternoon with Mrs. Lawrence Neitzel as hostess. The next
meeting will be Jan. 19 with Mrs. Albert Nelson and Mrs. Harry
Fristad as hostesses.
Joel Skoog,
Prentice, came New Year’s day to get his parents-in-law, Mr.
and Mrs. Fred Woempner, and William Benzman, and took them to his
home where they spent the day with Mr. and Mrs. Skoog and Vaughn.
He also brought them home in the evening.
Mrs. Cecelia
Chariton was admitted to St. Joseph’s hospital, at
Marshfield, Sunday. Raymond Chariton took her there.
Mrs. Ervin
Bitter has been at St. Joseph’s hospital every day to visit
Mr. Bitter, who is a patient there. He is reported as much improved
and since Monday has been permitted to be up a half hour each
day.
Mrs. Robert
Leichtnam was discharged from St. Joseph’s hospital,
Marshfield, Thursday. She was a medical patient there for three
weeks.
Harry Cook,
who was hospitalized for three weeks at St. Joseph’s
hospital, Marshfield, came home before Christmas. He is reported
much improved and expects to return to his work at
Streckert’s, in two weeks.
Mr. and Mrs.
M. C. Thompson visited Mrs. Joe Prestebak at St. Joseph’s
hospital, Marshfield, Sunday. Mrs. Ervin Bitter also visited her a
number of times.
Miss Mona Monarski, Eau Claire, came to spend New Years’s eve at the C. T. Dolan home. When she left New Year’s day, she was .....missing content.
