Ouimette, Mr./Mrs. William (50^th Anniv. - 31 July 1955) 
 

Mr. and Mrs. William Ouimette, of Park Falls, celebrated their golden wedding anniversary, Sunday, July 31. Mrs. Lillis Johnson and Ben Merwin, who were the attendants, were present, as well as Mrs. Emily Merwin, mother of the bride. 
 

Brothers and sisters from this vicinity attending were Mr. and Mrs. Howard Merwin, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Merwin, Mrs. A. J. Hennlich, Mr. and Mrs. L. F. Loucks and family, Mr. and Mrs. Art Merwin and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Merwin. Other relatives were from Duluth, Tomahawk, Spooner, Wausau, Abbotsford, and Curtiss. 
 

Many friends of the community attended the open house held to celebrate the occasion and the honored couple received many lovely gifts.
