Ruth (Marriage - 20 Jan. 1956)
Miss Ruth
Carlson and Eugene Graffunder exchanged marriage vows Friday
evening, Jan. 20, at 7:00 o’clock. Dr. C. V. Hinke, Sr.,
justice of the peace, performed the ceremony at the home of the
bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arvid Carlson.
Attending
the couple were Mr. and Mrs. James Peckham, friends, of
Medford.
A reception
for the immediate families and friends was held at the home
following the ceremony.
The bride, a
graduate of Taylor County Teachers College, taught in Clark county
the past two years and is currently teaching the Shady Lane school
in Wood county near Spencer.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Graffunder, Route 1, Abbotsford. He is engaged in farming in the town of Holton where the young couple are making their home.
