Mueller, Diane Lynn (6 Apr. 1954 - 17 Feb. 1956) 
 

A burial service was held at St. Bernard’s Catholic church Monday morning at 9:00 o’clock for Diane Lynn Mueller, 22-month old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Mueller, Route 2, Athens, who died Feb. 17 at Wisconsin General hospital, Madison. Death followed a month’s illness during which time the child was hospitalized at Marshfield and later at Madison. 
 

The Rev. Raymond Schulz officiated at the rites at the church and at the internment in the Abbotsford cemetery. Neal Klieforth was the altar boy and pallbearers were Teddy and Billy Hoffman, Brian Brunkhorst, and Archie Jarocki. 
 

Diane was born April 6, 1954, at Marshfield. In addition to the parents she is survived by six brothers and sisters, John, Kathleen, James, Susan, Judy, and Mary, all at home; the paternal grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Mueller, Edgar; and the maternal grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Fecker, Abbotsford. 
 

Out of town people who attended the funeral included Mr. and Mrs. Lee Heart, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Mueller, Mr. and Mrs. John Mueller, Elmer and Ervin Mueller, Arthur Hoffner, Edgar; Mr. and Mrs. Raphael Ellenbecker, Mrs. Frank Prough and daughters, Sue and Wanda, Mrs. Kenneth Schreiber, Athens; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Mueller, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Mueller and son, Dick, of Wausau. 
 

Mrs. Otto Mueller and daughter, Judy of Merrill; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Murphy, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Mueller, Fenwood; Mr. and Mrs. Peter Wilde, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Hilber, Mrs. Emanuel Firnstahl, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Leu and son, Mr. and Mrs. Hazel Riplinger, of Riplinger; and Alex Fandry, Athens.
