Funeral
services for Fred L. Earl, 81, who died March 14, were held
Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at the Presbyterian
church. The Rev. Richard Harrison officiated at the rites during
which Mrs. Myron Greaser and Miss Alice Pollack sang "Beyond the
Sunset," and "I Shall Not Want." Miss Lois Ehrenreich was their
accompanist.
Friends of
Mr. Earl served as pallbearers for the internment which was made in
Riverside cemetery, west of Withee. They were O. E. Woodbeck,
Celand Melbinger, Don Mathewson, H. A. Stuve, Carl Riber, and Earl
McCray, all of Owen.
Among the relatives from away who attended were Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Cattanach, Kimberly; Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Earl and James Elliott, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; James Elliott and three daughters and a grand daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Elliott, Chippewa Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Shirley Elliott, Eau Claire; Roy Stoker, Sigourney, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Arno Winters, Granton; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Cattanach, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Cattanach, Owen; Mr. and Mrs. D. S. Kunde and son, David, West Allis. Friends from Withee and Owen also attended.
