Miss Patricia Dohm, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vern Dohm, Abbotsford, and Gerald Vogt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Roberts, of Stetsonville, exchanged marriage vows in St. Bernard’s Catholic church, Saturday morning at 9:00 o’clock. The Rev. Raymond Schulz read the double ring service before the nuptial high mass. 
 

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white net and lace. Her finger tip veil was attached to a floral head piece. Red roses and white stephanotis were used in the bridal bouquet. 
 

Attending her as maid of honor was her sister, Miss Beverly Dohm, Wausau. The bridesmaid was Mrs. Robert Vogt, of Colby. 
 

Robert Vogt was his brother’s best man and a friend, Mr. Baker, served as usher. 
 

The bride’s attendants were dressed alike in waltz length dresses of blue net, designed with ruffled tier skirts and capes. They wore matching pleated head dresses. 
 

Mrs. Dohm, mother of the bride, wore a blue dress with white accessories and Mrs. Roberts, mother of the groom, chose gray with red accessories. Roses were used in their corsages and in those of Mrs. Anna Dall, of Marshfield, great grand mother of the bride. 
 

Following the ceremony, a wedding breakfast and reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Vogt. 
 

The new Mr. and Mrs. Vogt left on a wedding trip to northern Wisconsin and are now at home at Dorchester where he is employed at the furniture factory. The bride attended Abbotsford high school and the groom is a graduate of the Abbotsford high school in 1954. He also attended Eau Claire State College.

I got your email address from the Clark County History website marriage record of Patricia Dohm. I am looking for descendants of Harry Leo Roberts and noticed his name as the parent of the groom Gerald Vogt. My great aunt Iceda Wilhelm Roberts was the first wife of Harry Roberts. She died in 1948 and Harry remarried in 1950 to Verona Vogt, mother of Gerald Vogt. I am looking for any Wilhelm family history that might have been passed down to the Vogt family, especially any items that point to the origin of the Wilhelm family in Europe. I hope that you can help in contacting Vogt descendants.
