Henry F.
Beisner, town of Mayville farmer, died of a heart attack at 6:00
o’clock, October 7, at Stevens Point, where he had been
visiting the past several weeks with his son, Graydon. He was 72
years of age.
Mr. Beisner
was born in the town of Mayville July 13, 1884, and educated at the
Pleasant Hill school. He was married at Abbotsford on Dec. 29,
1910, to Miss Genevieve Ploof, who preceded him in death on July
13, 1952.
He served as
town treasurer and school board director for 12 years and was
president of the Mayville Telephone Company. He was a member of St.
Peter’s Lutheran church. Farming and carpentry were his
life’s occupations.
Survivors
include four sons, Walter, at home; Leo, Dorchester; Graydon,
Stevens Point; Gorman, Milwaukee; a daughter, Mrs. Ted (Faye)
Peissig, Minneapolis, Minn.; 14 grand children, and six brothers,
Richard, Center, N.D.; Arthur, Fremont; William, Erie; Fred, Herman
and Albert, all of Dorchester.
Two children, two brothers, and one sister preceded him in death.
