Zahorka,
Frank (21 Apr. 1882 - 21 Dec. 1956)
Frank
Zahorka, 74, died Friday, Dec. 21, at St. Joseph’s hospital,
Marshfield, where he had been a patient since the previous Tuesday.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock
at the Bethlehem Lutheran church at Milan, with the Rev. Frederick
Kempfert officiating. Internment followed in the Milan
cemetery.
Six nephews
served as pallbearers, Harvey Olson, Eldred Zahorka, William
Krueger, Ray, Delbert and Donald Denzine.
Frank
Zahorka was born in the Town of Holton April 21, 1882, and lived
there all his life. His marriage on Sept. 11, 1904, to Miss Alma
Denzine also took place in the Town of Holton.
He was
engaged in farming until his retirement several years
ago.
Surviving
him are his widow, two sons, Arthur, of Cleveland, and Ervin of
Abbotsford; two daughters, Mrs. Andrew (Anna) Haderlein of Milan,
and Mrs. Albert (Bernice) Horacek of Abbotsford. All of the
children were here for the funeral.
Also surviving are 10 grand children, six great grand children, two brothers, John of Colby and Joe of Prentice, and four sisters, Mrs. Harry (Mary) Olson of Abbotsford, Mrs. Rose Zahorka of Milwaukee, Mrs. Christine Krueger of Wausau and Sister Laberta of Princeton, Wis.
