Of Local Interest 
 

Mrs. Al Holtzhausen visited Carl Holtzhausen, of Colby, a medical patient at St. Joseph’s hospital, Marshfield, Tuesday afternoon. He was discharged that afternoon. 
 

Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Vogler and daughters, Anne and Patty, left Wednesday afternoon for Milwaukee for the week end. Mrs. Vogler, who teaches at Colby, will attend the Wisconsin Educational Association meetings and the family will visit Mr. Vogler’s sister, Miss Velma Vogler, and brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Vogler, and other relatives. 
 

Mrs. C. W. Hoffman and Mrs. Walter Fults received prizes at a meeting of the Abbotsford Woman’s Club, held Friday at the library. Mrs. Fred Ridderbusch and Mrs. J. H. Gentz are two new members. Hostesses at the meeting were Mrs. Henry Hingiss and Mrs. Ole Hanson. 
 

Dr. and Mrs. F. J. Bucheger and children left Thursday morning for Chicago and returned Sunday night. They visited his aunt there and another aunt at Waukesha and Mrs. Bucheger’s aunt at Milwaukee.
