Simon, George Theo. (April 28, 1855 - Aug. 15, 1910)
George Theo. Simon was born on April 28, 1855, at Mendota, Ill. and died August 15, 1910, at Grass Lake, Ill., aged 55 years. At the age of seven years he moved to Chicago with his parents. In 1873 he moved to Neillsville where he lived for three years and in 1876 he removed to Chicago where he engaged in business as a coal dealer. In recent years deceased conducted a hotel at Grass Lake, Ill. The cause of his death was acute liver complaint. He leaves surviving him, his widow, Louise Simon, formerly Louise Schoengarth, Louise Jackson, a daughter, George Simon, Jr., a son, John A. Simon, a son, and his sisters, Mrs.Julius Scholz of Chicago and Mrs. August Schoengarth of this city.
Mr. Simon was a well-known and well-liked business man in the locality in which he made his home and attained a considerable degree of prominence by his upright and sterling character.
