Prexa, Emma #2 (August 30, 1910)

Owing to the county fair which occupied the attention of the editor pretty completely last week, a detailed account of the marriage of William West and Miss Emma Prexa was not given last week.  The wedding occurred at the home of the groom’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. West in town of Grant Tuesday evening of last week.  It was a quiet home wedding and the ceremony was performed by Rev. Chapman.  The bridal couple was attended by Miss Mable Brown and Reuben King.  After the ceremony a typical Ridge supper was served.

William West is one of the best known young farmers of the Ridge country.  He is capable and industrious and is bound to forge to the front in his chosen vocation.  He has an excellent educational training, being a graduate of the Neillsville high school, and having further prepared himself for farming by a short course in Madison.  With his mental equipment and his untiring industry, William will make a progressive and successful farmer.  His bride is a resident of Alexandria, Minn., and is a most pleasant and affable young lady, and one whose evident capabilities and charming manners will make her a great favorite among her new associates.  The young people have started in house-keeping on the Nelson Waterman farm which Mr. West recently purchased.  The best wishes of the Times are extended to this very popular young couple.
