W. H. Woodworth and wife, A. E. Dudley and M. N. Perkins went to Antigo Tuesday morning to attend a Beaver Convention.
Last week Miss Adah Smith resigned her position as bookkeeper in the C.C. Sniteman drug store, and will take a short vacation before going to St. Paul to enter a nurses’ training school.
R. Townsend was taken to Marshfield Friday where he underwent an operation for appendicitis that evening. He is doing quite well now, and seems to be on the road to recovery.
F. D. Calway took his mother and sister, Mrs. A. C. Klopf, and her son to Cadott Tuesday in his auto, where the party will spend the week with Albert Calway, and also spend a couple of days at Eau Claire.
Sadie Blackman left for Fond du Lac Sunday night to spend a week with her sister and then go to Whitewater to attend normal. She will stay with her sister, Mrs. A. H. Duge and will be away for about twp months.
Mrs. Mary MacMillan and daughter, Miss Beatrice, started for Schenectady, N. Y., to visit Mrs. Eva MacMillan-Cutter. From there they will go to Canada.
