Scheibe, Verna C. (Schultz) (August 17, 1915 - October 12, 2009)

 
Verna C. Scheibe, 94, Abbotsford passed away peacefully at the Colonial House in Colby on October 12, 2009.

 
Verna was born on August 17, 1915 to Albert and Mary (Severt) Schultz in Auburndale. She married Arthur Scheibe, on June 20, 1932 in Minnesota. They later made their home in Abbotsford. She was a lifelong member of the Presbyterian Church, in Abbotsford and a member of the Royal Neighbors for years. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.

 
She is lovingly survived by her children, Donald (Dorothy) Scheibe, of Stetsonville, and Mary (Jerry) Adams, of Appleton. She is further survived by her granddaughters; Diane and Judy and grandsons; Dennis, Daniel, Fraser, Grant, Colon, and John, 15 great-grandchildren; Sarah, Megan, Rebecca, Stefanie, Erin, Gabrielle, Megan, Cyndy, Charlotte, Peter, Nicholas, Dylan, Jason, Eric, and Luke, and step great-grandchildren; Nathan and Briana.

 
Verna is preceded in death by her beloved husband Arthur Scheibe; a son Robert Scheibe; a grandson; great-grandson; two sisters Helen Auberson and Myrtle Smith; three brothers Elmer, Harold, and Earl; and parents Albert and Mary Schultz.

 
Her Funeral Service will be at the Maurina - Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford on Friday, October 16, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service. The intern pastor Julie Gorenson from the First Presbyterian Church in Abbotsford will preside. Burial of ashes will take place following the service at Abbotsford Public Cemetery.
