Lepke, Martha (15 January 1883 - 12 October
1952)
Mrs. Frank Lepke, 69, died at her home on 211
Court Street on Sunday, October 12, following an illness of four
months.
Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday,
October 15, from the Georgas Funeral Home with the Rev. Virgil
Nulton officiating. Interment was in the Neillsville City
Cemetery.
Mrs. Lepke, nee Martha Spiegel, was born to Henry
and Johanna (Schoengarth) Spiegel on January 15, 1883, in the Town
of Grant. She has been a resident of Clark County the past 42
years.
On
June 22, 1910, she was married to Frank Lepke at
Neillsville.
She
is survived by her husband, one son, Wade, of Neillsville, and one
daughter, Mrs. Warren (Irene) Hemp, of Neillsville; three brothers,
Alfred Spiegel, Charles Spiegel of Neillsville, August Spiegel of
Port Angeles, Wash., one sister, Mrs. Clara Schafer of Milwaukee,
and two grandchildren.
Two
brothers and one sister preceded her in death.

Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday at
the Georgas Funeral Home for Mrs. Frank Lepke. The Rev.
Virgil Nulton officiated, with interment made in the Neillsville
City Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Albert McCammant, Henry Hubing,
Ben Wegner, Dick Brown, R. E. Thompson and William
Wegner.
In
charge of the floral offerings were: Mrs. John Perkins, Mrs. Arthur
Gress, Mrs. Belle Gergen and Mrs. Anna Cole.
Persons from out of town attending included: Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Spiegel and family of Marshfield and Mrs. Pauline Belden of Dickinson, N. D.
