D. Roberts called here last week.
The doctor was called Saturday night to attend H. Tooley, who has been very sick but is now some better.
H. Blum is on the sick list.
Mrs. Otto Rather had a corn cutting bee last Sunday.
Fred Sturdevant has purchased a house and lot in Neillsville and expects to leave the farm in a short time.
School commences next Monday in Pine Valley, district No. 1, with Miss West as teacher.
Mrs. Royal Satterleey is visiting in Milwaukee.
Rev. F. L. McKean and his brother, who has been visiting with him, returned to their home in Iowa last Monday.
Ed Lamson has rented the C. R. Stein farm for a few years and will move at once.
Mrs. R. Archers has purchased eighty acres of land of R. Canfield.
Mr. Geo. Markham and family, who purchased the F. Wage farm is now settle on same.
Mrs. Stange and Carl were callers here Sunday.
