The county fair started in with a good rain.
Mrs. Emil Krause, who resided a few miles west of here, died Saturday of typhoid fever.
Ernest Davis died of typhoid fever last Wednesday at his father's home west of this place. The families of Judevine, Ackerman and Pietenpol are also affected.
Mrs. Milton Philpott of Loyal was a visitor here last Monday.
Threshing for this year will soon be a thing of the past.
