Death Claimed "Grandma" Mill Last Saturday.

As stated last week, Grandma Miller suffered a partial stroke of paralysis Wednesday. She recovered somewhat, until Saturday forenoon when it was seen that death would soon claim its own. She breathed her last just as the clock was striking twelve at noon.

Hannah Schwitzer Miller was born in October, 1816, in Gilbralter, Spain, coming to Canada when but a child. In 1868 she, with her family, came to Pennsylvania. Here her husband died in 1885. In 1893 she came west with her son William and family, with whom she has made her home since her husband's death.

Deceased was the mother of five sons and four daughters, the latter still living, while but three of the sons are alive.

After her marriage she joined the M. E. church, having been brought up a Roman Catholic. She was loved by all who knew her for her patience and true christian experience. Though she has been blind for several years she was patience and always cheerful.

The funeral occurred Monday at two o'clock from the M. E. church, Rev. W. E. Kloster officiating, assisted by Revs. W. T. Hendren and G. C. Andrews. Her remains were laid to rest in the Greenwood cemetery.
