Moffatt, Hollie Edward (21 March 1896 - 3 November 1952) With Flag
Hollie Edward Moffatt of the Town of York died at
St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield Monday following an
illness of several years duration.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at
2 o’clock from the Georgas Funeral Home. Military rites
will be conducted by the Haugen-Richmond American Legion
Post. Rev. Virgil Nulton will officiate. Interment will
be made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.
Mr. Moffatt was born March 21, 1896, in the Town of Hewett. He received his elementary education there and spent his early years on the farm. He served in World War I. ON July 21, 1920, he was married to Lillian Buelow at Neillsville.
He is survived by his wife and two sons, Harold Moffatt of Vancouver, Wash., and Norman Moffatt of Neillsville; four brothers, Harry and Vilas of Neillsville, Eugene of Tiffany, Wis., and Percy Moffatt, address unknown; also two grandchildren. One sister, Mrs. Joe (Maude) Cox preceded him in death.
