Leach, Adolph G. (18 September 1865 - 12 December 1952)

 
Adolph G. Leach, 87, of 216 Oak Street died at the Luther Hospital in Eau Claire on Friday, following a stroke.

 
The body reposed at the Bergemann Funeral Home until time of service on Monday, when it was taken to the Masonic Temple.  Rites were conducted there at two o’clock.  Interment was made in the Windfall Cemetery at Granton.  The Rev. Virgil Nulton officiated. 

Mr. Leach was born on September 18, 1865 , to Mr. and Mrs. George Leach in Waushara County.  He received his education in Waushara County and attended business college in Minneapolis.  In 1898 he was married to Blanche Beecher at Granton.  They resided on a farm near Granton.  In 1906 his wife died and in 1907 he moved to Wisconsin Rapids, living there until October of this year, when he came to Neillsville to make his home with his daughter, Mrs. Leslie Yorkston.  He became ill the last of November.

While he resided in Wisconsin Rapids he was engaged as a cabinetmaker and carpenter until 10 years ago. He was a member of the Congregational Church there and the Wisconsin Chapter of the Free and Accepted Masons No. 28.

He is survived by his two daughters, Mrs. Leslie (Neva) Yorkston of Neillsville and Mrs. Frances Love of Madison; three grandchildren, Robert Yorkston of Milwaukie, Ore., and John and Mavis Love of Madison; also two great-grandchildren; and by three sisters, Mrs. Clara Zirke, Mrs. Minnie Worden and Mrs. Tina Hall, all of Wisconsin Rapids.
