Hryniewicki, Edward (10 OCT 1892 - 25 DEC 1953)
Funeral services were conducted for Edward Hryniewicki Sr., at St. Hedwig’s Church at 10:00 o’clock Tuesday morning, Dec. 29th, the Rev. Francis Piekarski officiating. Mr. Hryniewicki, 61, a farmer in the Town of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), passed away at his home on Dec. 25th, 1953 of coronary thrombosis.
The deceased was born in Poland on Oct. 10, 1892. He came to America in the spring of 1909 and located at Chicago, Ill., where he was united in marriage to Julia Jarocki on April 15, 1913. They resided in Owen for some time before moving to Thorp.
Besides his wife, Julia, he is survived by three sons, Walter of Thorp, Henry J., Schofield, Wis., Edward F. of Necedah, Wis., and three grandchildren.
He was laid to rest in St. Hedwig’s Parish Cemetery. Pallbearers were Stanley Olejnik, Walter Jarocki, Walter Juzwiak, Peter Piwoni, Harry O’Konski and Leon Pawlak.
Out of town relatives and friends here for the funeral were Mrs. Kraley, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Olejnik and Mrs. A. B. Church of Chicago; E. C. Wilhelm, St. Cloud, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Jarocki and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Piwoni of Abbotsford; Mrs. Elizabeth Zawacki, Mr. and Mrs. Tony Zawacki and Mrs. Janet Becker of Athens; Mr. and Mrs. Leon Gusky of Necedah; Mr. and Mrs. Harry O’Konski and Mary O’Konski of Owen; Mrs. Lottie Bagnowski and Mr. and Mrs. Garfield Piwoni of Hannibal.
