County News

 

Shortville, Wisconsin

 

The Ladies' Aid society met with Mrs. Lettie Short last Thursday.

 

James Short has purchased Rev. McKean's bicycle.

 

Mr. and Mrs. McAdams, Mamie Hutchens and Racie Howard of Levis, attended the party at James Short's Saturday evening.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Shoop of Neillsville, have been visiting relatives and friends in Shortville for a few days.

 

Tom Lowery, Will Bryson and Will Galbrath, who went out to northern Minnesota to work, have been exposed to the small pox.

 

There was a pleasant surprise at Jas. Short's Saturday evening in honor of Rev. McKean.

 

Rudolph Frantz is not better.

 

Mr. Babcock is reported very sick, have had a storke of paralysis.

 

Rev. Ganfield of Neillsville, preached here Sunday evening, there being a large attendance.

 

Mamie West of Pleasant Ridge, attended Sunday school and church here Sunday.
