Christie
George Harper and family leave for Dorchester today, where he has bought a farm.
Mrs. Hann of Kansas, visited at Mr. Chase's last Saturday.
Last Tuesday Nick Schafer killed a bear near his place. Mr. Bruin had helped himself at Mr. Schafer's pig pen and also at Mr. Hanson's.
Mrs. Jacob Demouth returned home last Saturday, accompanied by her aunt, Mrs. Shrove, who will make them an extended visit.
School was closed last Friday to give the pupils an opportunity to attend the fair.
Mr. Derby has sold his property to Steve Jones, and will move to Thorp in the near future.
W. T. Hendren of Greenwood, called on friends Thursday.
Mr. and Mrs. Redmond and Mrs. Churchill visited relatives in York Centre last Saturday.
