Mrs. Andrew Biddle returned home from St. Joseph’s Hospital at Chippewa Falls on Saturday afternoon where she spent a week recuperating from pneumonia.
Paul Zimmerman from Eau Claire called on friends in Thorp on Saturday.
Val Elmendorf is home from the hospital and is spending a few days at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Frank Schultz in the Town of Worden.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred J. Schmidt of Thorp and Mrs. Donald Bratz of Loyal, left today for Port Washington, Wis. to attend the funeral of Beck Dalesbo, husband of the former Mary Overle of Thorp, who was killed in an accident.
Mrs. Wm. S. Wagner entertained the ladies of the Whist Club on Monday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Nowobielski are rejoicing over the birth of a son born Thursday, March 11th, 1954 at the Stanley hospital, weighing 7 lbs. 11 ounces.
