Yanke, Gust
(27 Oct. 1898 - 12 June 1957)
Gust Yanke,
58, died Wednesday, June 12, at St. Joseph’s hospital,
Marshfield, where he was admitted the day before. Death was due to
a cerebral hemorrhage following a short illness.
Mr. Yanke
was employed for a number of years as electrician by the Abbotsford
Hardware Co.
Funeral
services were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the
Fuchsgruber Funeral Home, Dorchester, with the Rev. Harold Welch,
pastor of Salem Evangelical United Brethren church officiating.
Internment followed at Dorchester Memorial
cemetery.
Mr. Yanke, who was not married, was born in Dorchester Oct. 27, 1898, and had lived in the area all his life. He is survived by two brothers and two sisters, Fred, Dayton, Ohio; Otto, Ontonagon, Mich.; Mrs. Ella Parkhill, Arpin; and Anna, at home. Two brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
