Sylvia Pickering arrived home Tuesday, after having visited friends at Alaine, Plainfield and Minneapolis.
Mrs. C. D. Stockwell of Rice Lake is visiting with friends here.
Bertha Winn, our teacher, is on the sick list and was unable to teach Tuesday.
James and John Sparks leave Saturday for Plainfield, where they go to dig potatoes.
B. Pickering is moving the old store building across the road and will put in a lath mill.
